    • The 1900 census lists his father Levi E Byers, 52, living with his wife Josephine, 48, and the following Pennsylvnia-born children: Mamie M, 18, born Jan 1882 [sic]; Bessie C, 12, born Sept 1887 [sic]; Francis and Lawrence, 12, born Jan 1888; and Phillip, 5, born Feb 1895. «i»1900 U.S. Census, «/i»Mt. Pleasant Twsp, Adams Cnty, PA (T 623, Roll 1354, stamped p. 277B).

      Frank's World War I draft card (5 Jun 1917) give his name as "Frank B Byer," age 29, and stated his birthdate as 17 Jan 1888, born in Adams Cnty, PA. He was employed as a laborer in a brickyard.

      According to Gervaise Dynes-Wolak, in her notes at «u»www.FindAGrave.com«/u» :
      "Buried next to his parents, Francis "Frank" H. Byers rests. He was one of twin sons born to Josephine (Snouffer) and Levi E. Byers. Frank was born in New Oxford where he remained his entire life. He never married and had no children but worked odd jobs throughout the community." (Accessed June 2008)
