      By the time of the 1930 census, Kelley's mother Felicia or Lelia Snouffer had died and his father had remarried. The census lists "Etus P Blackwell," 46, living with his second wife Nina B, 38, and children: "Acie" [Cecil], 16; "Kelly M," 12; Marion R, 9; and his first cousin Ronald Squires, 3.
