    • The 1880 census records John "Tims," 50, born in England, living with his wife Margaretta, 31, born in Michigan, and 2 Michigan born children; Pearl F, 10; and Irving, 3. 1880 U.S. Census, Adams, Hillsdale Cnty, MI (T9, Roll 580, stamped p. 18D).

      The 1910 census records her husband of 6 years, George F. Jewett, 53, born in Ohio, living with Pearl, 39, born in Michigan, and their son Edward, 2, born in Washington. Living with them was her nephew, Reuben Reed, 20, also born in Michigan. George's occupation at the time was as a farmer; nephew Reuben worked as a farm laborer. 1910 U.S. Census, White Salmon Prct, Klickitat Cnty, WA (T 624, Roll 1656, stamped p. 193).

      By 1920 the family had moved to Idaho. The 1920 census records Pearl, 49, living with her husband George, 62, a physician in general medical practice, and their son "Edward O," 12. They were living in the household of Pearl's brother Washington I. Timms, 42, a farmer. 1920 U.S. Census, Wilder Prct, Canyon Cnty, ID (T 625, Roll 290, stamped p. 72).

      And by 1930 the family had returned to Washington State. The census lists George, 73, living with Pearl, 59, "Edward I," 22, and Pearl's brother Washington Irving Timms, 52. George is listed as a farmer of a "fruit farm," while both Edward and Washington Irving were listed as farm laborers. 1930 U.S. Census, White Salmon, Klickitat Cnty, WA (T 626, Roll 2489, stamped p. 283B).

      Obituary, The [White Salmon, WA] Enterprise, p. 1 (12 Jun 1931):
      "MRS. PEARL JEWETT CALLED
      "Funeral services conducted by the Order of the Eastern Star were held Saturday [6 Jun] at Gardner's Funeral Home, White Salmon, for Mrs. Pearl Jewett, 60, a resident of this community for more than 25 years, who died suddenly Thursday of last week [4 Jun].
      "She had been a leader in women's activities and a past matron of the Order of Eastern Star and had been president of the local Woman's Club.
      "Surviving are her widower, Dr. George F. Jewett, a son, Edward; and one brother, Irving Timms, all of White Salmon."
