      The 1880 census notes his father Caldwell, 64, living with his wife Esther J, 50, and the following children: Ellen H, 21; Margaret, 19; Etta, 17; William E, 16; Isabella R, 14; and "Arthur B," 12. 1880 U.S. Census, New Market Twsp, Highland Cnty, OH (T 9, Roll 1033, stamped p. 458B).

      The 1900 census shows Arthur B Kerr, 32, born June 1868 in Ohio to a father born in Ireland and a mother born in Ohio, living with his wife of 4 years, Mable, 28, born Jan 1872 in Illinois, and their daughter Mildred, 2, born July 1897 in Illinois.
