    • The 1900 census shows "Felicia C" Snouffer, born in Kansas in July 1887, 12-yrs old; living with her parents "Lidde C" and "Archibald T" Snouffer and siblings Cora E, born Sept 1888, 11-yrs old; Adell R, born July 1890, 9-yrs old; Cecil M., born Feb 1892, 8-yrs old; Blossom N, born Sept 1894, 5-yrs old, and "Not Named Yet," son, born Mar 1900, 2 months old. 1900 U.S. Census, Dirigo Twsp, Grant Cnty, Oklahoma Terr (T 623, Roll 1337, stamped p. 157).

      The 1910 census lists "Lelia," 22, living with her husband of 2 years, Otus, 26, and son Virgil, 8 months. Otus is employed as an odd-job laborer. 1910 U.S. Census, Oskaloosa Ward 3, Mahaska Cnty, IA (T 624, Roll 412, stamped p. 91).

      The 1920 census records "O P Blackwell," 36, living his wife Lelia, 32 and children: Virgil, 10; Cecil, 6; and Kelley, 2. 1920 U.S. Census, Round Grove, Kay Cnty, OK (T 625, Roll 1466, stamped p. 232B).

      Felicia or Leila died in 1922, a few months after giving birth to her sixth child, Jack Jess, who was then adopted by Leila's sister Blossom Almack. (Email from Jack's daughter, Nancy Almack Gil to Wm.C. Snouffer; 16 Aug 2011).
