    • According to the Montgomery County [MD] Sentinel, p. 3 (7 Dec 1894): "The Gaithersburg branch of Washington National Building Association met last Friday, and elected the following as officers: ... H. B. Cramer ...." John D. Bowman, Guide to Selections from the Montgomery County [MD] Sentinel, 1893-1896, p. 95 (2007).

"The 42nd annual Fair of the Montgomery County Agricultural Society [1895] was held at the Fair Grounds in Rockville, starting on Tuesday, September 10th. It was originally scheduled for 4 days, but was rained out on Friday. The first day seems to have been mainly devoted to receiving the exhibits; but there was racing each afternoon and, in the words of the Sentinel, that was 'the principal point of attraction'. It was estimated that there were about 12,000 visitors in attendance on Thursday afteroon.
"There were on exhibit 61 dogs ... [and hundreds of other animals in 12 categories].
"Prizes were awarded as in past years.... The prizes were: ***
      "Dogs: ... H. B. Cramer, ..."
John D. Bowman, Guide to Selections from the Montgomery County [MD] Sentinel, 1893-1896, pp. 135-137 (2007).
