"Cora Lee Schnaufer, 77, Columbus, passed away October 3, 2018. Lee was born in Washington Court House, Ohio, to Betty and Harry Lee Shaw, attended public schools in Washington C.H., and graduated The Ohio State University with degrees in degrees in education and accounting. Later she earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant (CPA). In 1961, Lee married William "Bill" Schnaufer from Marion, Ohio, while both were attending OSU. She bore and reared their three children, Lynn Schnaufer (1962), David Schnaufer (1965 2016), and Amy Schnaufer (1970). David is survived by Kathryn (Baker) Schnaufer and their daughter, Emily, who attends high school in Hilliard. Lee is also survived by her brother, Harry Lee Shaw, Jr., of Washington C.H., and his wife, children, and grandchildren. Lee enjoyed many activities: needlecrafts, gardening, singing with the Sweet Adelines, playing piano, vacationing at the family cottage at Wamplers Lake in Michigan, collecting fashion jewelry, leading her daughters' Girl Scout troops, playing tennis and bowling, sewing clothes, playing bridge, contributing needle crafts to her local TWIG, traveling, reading, and delighting in her only grandchild, Emily.
