      "(Special Dispatch to the Baltimore Sun.)
      "Westminster, Md., April 17. -- Miss Emma Louise Bankard, daughter of the late David J. Bankard, was married to Mr. Elmer Howell Hoppe, son the late Josephus Hoppe. The ceremony was performed at the residence of Mrs. Caroline Bankard, grandmother of the bride, who resides near Cranberry Station, by the Rev. H. J. MacAlester, of the German Reformed Church. The bridesmaid, Miss Edna R. Bankard, wore a blue gown, with gloves to match. The best man was William A. Wilson, of Westmnster. The bride was attired in a garnet-colored gown, with hat and gloves to match."
