    • The 1900 census lists Joe F, an 11-yr old boy, born in May 1889 in Ohio, living with his parents and 8 siblings. 1900 U.S. Census, Perry Twsp, Franklin Cnty, OH (T 623, Roll 1270, stamped pp. 184-185).

      The 1910 census lists "Joseph Jr.," 20, living with his parents and siblings in Perry township. 1910 U.S. Census, Perry twsp, Franklin Cnty, OH (T 624, Roll 1183, stamped p. 203).

      Joe had a brief stint of military service during World War I. He enlisted 23 Sep 1918, and served as a private until honorably discharged 15 Dec 1918.       "Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday.... Burial will be in Walnut Grove, Columbus...."
