    • The 1930 census records her husband Robert, 30, living with his wife of 6 years Olive, 30, and daughter Margaret, 3. All were born in Illinois. Robert was employed as an electriction at a "battery station." 1930 U.S. Census, ED 99-86, Wheatland Twsp, Will Cnty, IL (T 626, Roll 569, stamped p. 225).
    • In 1940 the census shows Olive, 40, living with her husband Robert McMicken, 40, and their two daughters: Margaret, 13, and Caroline, 7. All had been born in Illinois.
